Hello Preschool Friends and Families,
Happy Friday! Friends and families, today ends our second week of flexible learning. I can not stress enough that you all have been doing such a fantastic job through all of this. I am here to help you with anything you may need during this time that we are away from our classroom and each other.
Have you been using the iPads that were sent home by the district? If so, in what capacity? How are they useful and/or not useful? Please let me know if there is something great that you have been able to use as a resource for your child.
This blog is to help all of you through this time at home. Please remember these are all just suggestions for you to have in one location if you find, that you need additional resources for your child. Our key word is Flexible and that is very important when working with young children. I will continue to send a morning email each school day with links to this page, my video, along with Mrs. Cosgrove's morning message. Please continue to email me your pictures. I love seeing your faces! I am only an email away from answering any questions or concerns that may arise.
NO SCHOOL, MONDAY, MARCH 30, 2020 - SNOW DAY GIVE BACK DAY

Suggested Activities
Epic
Teddy Bear Counting
While reading this book with your child, please have your child point/name the colors of each bear. As the story progresses, point out the shapes. Encourage your child to count using their finger to "mark" each bear. You may need to model or hold your child's hand to show them how to count along with you. An extension of this book could be to count out toys cars, blocks, or any other items that may be easily available.
PBSKids
Music/Movement
These are several songs by Patti Shukla that we play in the classroom. Shake, Shake, Shake!
